Meet Kimaya McPherson

Kimaya McPherson is a couture designer based in South Florida known for creating custom bridal and evening wear with a strong focus on craftsmanship, fit, and individuality. She designs and builds every piece from the ground up, blending traditional construction with modern silhouettes and details. Her work is influenced by high fashion couture houses and shaped by her background in pattern making, tailoring, and technical design.

Kimaya launched her namesake brand to give women a more personal alternative to mass produced gowns. Each dress is developed through a collaborative process that highlights her client’s story, shape, and vision. From intricate hand sewn embellishment to dramatic structural gowns, her work reflects both artistry and engineering.

After years of designing privately, she opened her first studio in Margate, Florida, where she now meets clients, develops custom patterns, produces collections, and teaches sewing and design to emerging creators. Her goal is to grow a fashion house that centers craftsmanship, education, and representation while expanding into larger bridal and red-carpet markets.
